Hi, I’m Bailey.
I’m a dance artist, educator, adjudicator, director, choreographer, and most importantly, someone who has cared deeply about this industry since I was 7 years old.
I started dancing at the age of three in Toronto, Ontario, and have been lucky enough to build a career that has taken me around the world through dance.
My professional career began at sixteen as a dancer at Canada’s Wonderland, before performing as an original cast member aboard Royal Caribbean, where I met one of my greatest mentors, Geneviève Dorion-Coupal. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of performing and creating with companies including Cirque du Soleil, The 7 Fingers, No Ceilings Entertainment, Kaleidoscope Entertainment, and Virgin Voyages.
Some career highlights include performing in Canada’s 150th Celebration on Parliament Hill, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Chanteurs Masqués, the European tour of Veronic Voices, Untitled DanceShowPartyThing (directed by Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton), and serving as Dance Captain for the Invictus Games Closing Ceremonies.
Today, much of my work lives in direction and choreography as an Associate Director and Choreographer, creating productions at sea for Virgin Voyages while continuing to teach, choreograph, adjudicate, and mentor dancers across Canada.
But adjudication has always held a really special place in my heart.
For nearly a decade, I have adjudicated competitions across Canada, quietly staffing events and helping build panels behind the scenes for over five years before officially launching Prism Dance Adjudicators.
I created Prism because I genuinely believe great adjudication matters.
The right judge can build confidence, change a dancer’s perspective, support studio growth, and completely shift the energy of a competition weekend. I wanted to create something that helped competitions find thoughtfully balanced, passionate, professional panels without the stress of navigating it all alone.
I’m also proud to be a certified Level Two Adjudicator through The Dance Leadership Institute, an Acro Dance Adjudicator with Acrobatic Arts, an Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Dance, and an educator with The Dance Leadership Institute, supporting the development of emerging adjudicators.
At the heart of everything I do is storytelling, connection, and helping people step into their fullest potential, whether that’s on stage, in a classroom, or behind an adjudicator’s table.
I’m so glad you’re here.
with love,
Bailey
